Gross Electric accepts the following forms on payment for online purchases:

*Gross Electric will only accept credit or debit cards issued in the United States. Upon approval of your credit card your order will be processed and your credit card will be charged. All taxes, if any, due on your online transaction will be charged as required by applicable laws. All taxes are calculated and included in the final price on the Order Review Page.

Return of Online Purchases

Lighting is fragile business! Should an item be received in defective or broken condition, please contact us immediately. With verification of your broken items, we will reorder and coordinate your return as quickly as possible. Returns due to defective/broken merchandise must be completed within 30 days of delivery.

To ensure that your return is processed accurately please email webreply@grosselectric.com immediately.

A customer service associate will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization Code that must be included with your merchandise return.

Please be aware of the following:

  • Returns made without a Return Merchandise Authorization will not be accepted.
  • Absolutely no returns will be processed after 30 days of delivery.
  • Fixtures that have cut wires and/or have been installed cannot be returned.
  • The complete fixture and parts must be properly returned to their original packaging. In the event that any of the included items are missing, additional charges may be applied.
  • Details as to the condition of the defective/broken merchandise must be provided. In some cases, pictures of the defective items must be submitted for verification.
  • We do not refund any installation costs. Please receive and review all merchandise prior to scheduling your electrician.
  • We do not refund additional freight costs that may have been added to for special order items.
  • If your items were delivered via freight line, your return order may be subject to additional services fees that will be deducted from your return. We will contact you to coordinate this process.

We know ordering online can be tricky, especially in lighting. If the fixture you ordered is in perfect condition, but just wasn’t what you were expecting – too big, too small, not the style you were looking for. Just email webreply@grosselectric.com and a customer service associate will be glad to assist you.

Please be aware of the following in this instance:

  • Absolutely no returns will be processed after 30 days of delivery.
  • Fixtures that have cut wires and/or have been installed cannot be returned.
  • The complete fixture and parts must be properly returned to their original packaging. In the event that any of the included items are missing, additional charges may be applied.
  • Many of the items in our online store are considered special order items that we do not typically stock, because of this you may be subject to a restocking fee on a return of a non defective item.

Returning Your Online Order to a Gross Electric Showroom

You are more than welcome to return your defective/broken merchandise to one of our Showrooms. Please note that in addition to the information above, the following applies:

  • Showroom returns must be completed within 30 days of delivery.
  • You must contact us at webreply@grosselectric.com and must be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization Code prior to arriving at our showroom.
  • Once authorized, you will be able to return your merchandise to our Toledo, OH or Ann Arbor, MI showrooms.
