JOB SUMMARY:
Supply Counter Sales is responsible for selling electrical supplies and associated products. This position requires the associate to meet and exceed customer expectations, in responsiveness, detail and follow through.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently attain quarterly and yearly goals.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to products.
- Demonstrate and explain merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
- Assist customers with purchase decisions.
- Establish, develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, prospective customers and co-workers.
- Establish and maintain long-term, customer relationships by meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Retrieve merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders when needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge through self-study, online courses, and vendor training.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift 50-100#.
- Ability to climb up and down multiple steps and ladders.
