JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team, producing timely and accurate quotations, using the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, provide and maintain excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide overall support to sales team.
- Work with sales staff to compile data, review and generate request for quotation packages for various industrial, commercial and construction projects.
- Update and maintain CRM system.
- Track projects, hit rates and generate reporting to determine wins/losses with customers and vendors.
- Expedite orders proactively and provide delivery schedules to customers.
- Ensure orders are entered correctly prior to billing.
- Assist in locating products for customer using available resources.
- Track and monitor end user special pricing agreements to ensure they remain current.
- Follow through with direct returns.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and track utility rebates from internal and external customers.
- Participate in ongoing product and company training.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change and keep the customer in focus at all times.
- Experience using purchasing software (ERP) applications, specifically Epicor/Eclipse preferred.
