JOB SUMMARY:
Warehouse & Delivery Associates are responsible for accurately filling orders, stocking merchandise, ensuring inventory is correct, and supporting the sales team by delivering orders in a helpful, friendly manner. Warehouse & Delivery Associates are also expected to keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately fill all orders and assure paperwork is completed properly.
- Receive and stock merchandise.
- Ensure merchandise inventory is correct.
- Resolve discrepancies.
- Assemble and disassemble showroom displays.
- Organize inventory shelves.
- Deliver merchandise to customers including delivery to residential, businesses and job sites.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive parcels, freight and transfers in the absence of Receiving staff.
- Contribute ideas and ways to improve and/or optimize warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work respectfully with the Gross Electric team in a positive environment.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
