Description
The movements of dancers and how they use their bodies and costumes to convey a story completely mesmerises me. As I sat in a darkened Theatre, I began to create an abstract version of the production as seen here in Flamenco Dancer. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because it is hand painted, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating black wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box in either a horizontal or vertical orientation!
